In the pursuit of better sound frequency through modified exhaust systems, many car owners have been troubled by vibration and drone in the vehicle interior. FI Exhaust has eliminated these two concerns by addressing key factors that contribute to the drone and vibration such as construction quality, materials used, welding joints, thickness of exhaust pipes, and barrel design.

Our goal is to ensure that users can enjoy a powerful sound tone after installing our exhaust system without being disturbed by drone or vibration inside the car at a low RPM.

FI Exhausts utilise Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, a technique known for its precision and quality. In this process, an inert shielding gas, typically Argon or Helium, protects the welded areas from atmospheric contamination. A constant-current welding power supply produces an arc to melt the object and filler metal through a column of highly ionized gas and metal vapors. Although, gases needed for TIG welding process are noticeably more expensive than other welding methods, it can effectively shield the surrounding environment to prevent contamination, while being insoluble and having no reaction with metals. TIG welding also automatically eliminates the oxide films present on the surfaces of the welding joints. As a result, details and finishes on the objects can be protected from the destructive effects of the atmosphere to the melted metal.

The quality of the TIG welding reflects the skill, experience, dedication and masterful touches performed by our welders.

This craftsmanship not only appeals to car owners who appreciate aesthetic excellence but also establishes a new standard for the strength and performance of aftermarket exhaust systems.

A focal point in our designs, pipe diameters play a critical role in the quality and practicality of every exhaust system. Larger pipe diameters will improve horsepower output performance at a high RPM range. However, this does not mean that larger diameters produce better performance when at high RPM. If the diameter is too large, exhaust gases may not be able to fill up the holding space of the pipe and lead to turbulence and exhaust outflow issues that can negatively affect the performance.

Therefore, the FI Team designs and customises every exhaust pipe with precision and utmost care based on their original fittings, with the aim to greatly increase the horsepower and torque through an optimal diameter ratio. Drivers will discover a breakthrough in sports car sound performance not available with the OEM exhaust system.

Exhaust pipes with smaller diameter sizes are perfect for torque output under low revs. When under mid to low RPM range, exhaust gases can be released quickly, whereas under high RPM, large volumes of exhaust gases will be blocked inside the exhaust system, and the exhaust temperature will increase subsequently.
