• Only competent authorised personnel conduct testing using reasonable safety controls.
• Road testing is limited to lawful operation; track or controlled facilities are used where public-road testing is unsuitable.
• Fuel, tyres, brakes, fluids and vehicle condition must be suitable for the agreed test.
• Incidents or material findings are recorded and communicated promptly.
