What this standard covers

• A quote is a fixed offer for stated scope unless agreed assumptions or authorised variations apply; an estimate is an informed approximation.
• Diagnostic or teardown work and its charge are identified separately.
• Material additional work, parts substitution or changed timing requires recorded customer approval.
• If approval cannot be obtained, work stops at a safe and reasonable point.
• Final invoices identify authorised work and significant variations.

Nothing in this document excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where this policy conflicts with mandatory law, the law prevails.
