Records whether the vehicle is intended for road, track, competition, display or off-road use and identifies compliance, safety and insurance considerations.

What this standard covers

• The customer provides accurate intended-use, fuel, power, road-registration and competition information.
• Road use may require approvals, certification, inspection and insurer disclosure.
• Race or off-road components may not be lawful or suitable for public-road use.
• Changes in intended use should be disclosed before supply or installation.
• The declaration supports scope and safety decisions but does not transfer the supplier’s legal obligations.

Nothing in this document excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where this policy conflicts with mandatory law, the law prevails.
